We’re looking forward to extra arty dessert after a fantastic festival season! For those wanting a top up there is plenty to wet your whistle before FAWC hits in November. Tomorrow night That Bloody Woman plays at the Muni in Napier. This has been a well-received touring show and we’re looking forward to seeing it. It’s a musical based on the story of Kate Sheppard. As we are only just getting over the election fury and still without a government it’s a fitting show to see this week! We’re also looking forward to another touring show coming our way: Contrast from Footnote Dance. That’s on at The Blyth in Havelock on 25 October. Dancers will take over the Hastings City Art Gallery the next day (26 October) in a mash-up with their current Everyday Lines show. In terms of music we are looking forward to The Nukes playing Common Room on 22 October – who doesn’t love ukuleles?! Just because the festivals are over doesn’t mean the touring artistes are by-passing the Bay! Still plenty to give you a regular diet of kulcha!
